Camera mix up lead to my utter embarrassment

My boyfriend; Matt and I often tape our romps. We only keep them for our own enjoyment but sometimes it can be a real turn on to watch ourselves going at it. He is a fireman and we have made numerous tapes of us going at it with Matt kitted up in his work gear.

We have been filming our antics for years on a small digital camera and before now, have always been extremely careful about leaving it around for others to see. However, it still made it into the wrong hands, to my utter embarrassment!

Long story short, Matt’s best mate; Adam and his Wife, brought their camera round one night, to show us some holiday snaps. They had exactly the same camera as us, same colour, and same model. This would be where the slip up was to be made.

They had been to the Bahamas and I have to say, I became more and more jealous with each picture. It looked gorgeous. As always,the conversation shifted to football, so us girls did we do best and went off for a natter in the garden.

Later that night, I had just got out of the shower when I noticed the light to what I thought was my camera, flashing to tell me the battery was low. I decided to have a sneaky look at one of our videos to get me in the mood before Matt came to bed when to my horror, all I could see were reams and reams, of snaps of beaches and Matt’s friend and his wife. It soon hit me that this was Adam’s camera. They had taken ours by mistake! I screamed for Matt to get downstairs and he appeared, clearly still wet from the shower and noticeably miffed at my shouting. “What is it?” he panted. “Adam has left his camera but ours is not where we left it!", I shouted, panicking by this point. It didn’t seem to register with him at first, so I gave him the stare as if to say “wake up!”

He grabbed his phone... “Adam mate. I think you got our camera, can I come and grab it now, Helen needs it tomorrow.” There was a pause before Matt’s voice went up a pitch - “No, No mate, tonight would be better...wait.... mate”.

It turns out Adam was in bed, or so he claimed, and had insisted Matt pick it up the next day at work. “It’ll be OK love. I’ll get it." We went to bed resigned to the fact it would have to wait.

‘I will never live it down’

It turns out that the reason Adam had not wanted us to get it, was because he was making a DVD of ‘our best bits’ to show the lads at work. Matt and Adam were firemen who got off on mutual, public humiliation. It was one big boys club and it turns out Matt had done something very similar a year back. This was Adam’s revenge and my utter embarrassment. After screening a viewing for the boys at work, he gave Matt the camera. I think deep down, Matt loved that his mates were able to see what he got up to with his missus but I was not amused. After all, he got the pats on the back, while I got the sniggers and whistling

To this day, I cannot look Adam in the eye, and receive a barrage of whistles whenever I pick Matt up from work. Thanks Adam!!
