In a surprise move, the Christian movement would appear to be embracing the likes of the Rabbit vibe and sex enhancing lubes, provided only married couples use them in the bedroom.
It’s fair to say that religion and sex toys have never really gone hand in hand. However, a slightly maverick Christian group, named ‘Christian Love Toys’ claim that their rather unorthodox mission, is to provide a safe and sexy place for married couples.
Whilst the association of Christianity and sex toys has undoubtedly caused a great deal of controversy, the self-styled mission group argues that through providing massage lotions, vibrators, romantic games and a variety of sexual enhancers, they help improve married couples' sex lives. In their own exact words, ‘Christian sex is awesome!’ Whilst it is difficult to see exactly what it is that stands the organisation apart from other sex toy carriers, (aside from the obvious) they do have their own stringent ‘guidelines’ when it comes to purchasing the toys.
The first is the strong stipulation that the toys are exclusive to married couples. They also discourage unmarried lovers from purchasing their sex aids whilst highlighting the fact that all toys are to be used with the spouse’s knowledge and that comfort levels and boundaries are to be respected. Quick to to point out that there is ‘such a thing as inappropriate sex’ between married couples, the website is also keen to urge us not to give in to perversion as a result of using their sex accessories.
Although it’s very unlikely we are going to see vibrators incorporated into the Holy Communion, if we look past the bizarre nature of it all, it would appear that sex toys have come a long way.
The 4US Cock Ring is ideal for couples, whether they are married or not, as it is guaranteed to satisfy both partners. |
